Using heavy-gauge steel and a 32mm hole mounting pattern, this hinge is ideal for institutional doors. ATC’s five knuckle hinge incorporates a “hospital tip” design at the top and bottom of the pin housing to eliminate any sharp edges as required by schools, hospitals and other institutions. Although primarily seen in educational and medical settings, ATC’s five knuckle hinge is also used in industrial cafeteria and locker room applications, as well as in restaurant and store fixture work. ATC’s line of Institutional Hinges come in three basic door-to-side-panel thicknesses.
